Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational rehabilitation is a program designed to help you make the transition to a different type of job than the one you had at the time of the accident. Vocational rehabilitation may include job search counseling, vocational retraining, and education.
The employer must provide vocational rehabilitation if you cannot return to your pre-injury job. You are required to participate in a reasonable rehabilitation program.
During the program, you are entitled to maintenance benefits (at the employee's TTD rate), plus costs and expenses incidental to the vocational rehabilitation program.
